Two days before his 69th birthday, Merle Oxley had the rare privilege of driving these four home-raised registered Percheron mares representing the four colors of our breed. Within a week of this photo the mares were sold, each to a different state. Three of these mares are by our former sire, Bittersweet Enchanted DID. The mares are:
